Its average appearance lulls you into a sense of complacency before a nice lemon/citrus notes in the aroma and a great hop character in the flavor, leading to a very dry and full finish convince you that this is no ordinary pils. Really a superior example from a somewhat underappreciated style and, in my opinion, one of Victory's better brews!

Nov 9, 2003 Poured a clear golden color with a small tight white head. Hoppy earthy aroma, including hints of lemon as well. Smooth hops balanced nicely by malt, very refreshing.

Mar 17, 2005 Updated: May 14, 2007Bottle. Clear golden color with a medium sized head. Mild hoppy aroma. Crisp, clean flavor of mild malt and a nice dry hoppy finish. Very refreshing beer. Next time I’m looking for a lighter beer to drink, I think I’ll have another of these.

Aug 7, 2009 Bottle: Pours a pale gold lager in the pilsner flute with a nice tight-pored 2 finger cap. Good retention and lacing. Moderate carbonation.
Aroma is floral with some fresh cereal and grassiness. Fresh and pungent to the nose.
Soft mineral salts palate. Up front biscuity malts and spicey-piney hops fight for balance then this dries out and lightly bitters in the crisp quenching finish.
Faithful rendition of a German Pils. Artfully executed and properly presented.
A dynamite Pilsner, pretty much sex in a bottle.

Sep 1, 2005 Has a strong aroma almost smells like a skunk. The flavor is very good it starts out with fizz and carbonation then comes the flavors of hops, malts, and honey with a crisp finish. So far this is my favorite Pilsener

Oct 8, 2005 Updated: Apr 19, 2006Re-rate. First one was bad bad bad. Much improved now. Crystal clear with a nice white head. My standard everyday pils. Spicy, crisp, respectable hop bite but not near the IPA category. VERY drinkable and one heck of a thirst quencher.

Jan 4, 2006 Pale but beutiful and just the right amount of bitter hop malt mix for a warm afternoon... no real celebrity hop stand out but a well crafted stand by.
