Commercial Description:
Bottle: Filtered.
Ingredients: 2 row German pale malt; Czech Saaz, German Northern Brewer hops.

Score one for the Americans...12 oz. bottle in a willibecker...Coors light pall with head that wavers slightly...still, opaque...malt is noticeable in that crisp, welcoming bite that only a good pilsner can deliver...I wonder if, like Brewery Ommegang, the Downington brewers didn’t take a few notes from a European master...perfect for the oncoming summer...I’d score this higher, if only pilsners weren’t so unimpressively colored or scented... I guess God can’t imbue beauty on everything!

Wow - didn’t know you could get a pilsener like this in a bottle! Clear, pale color. Huge Saaz aroma and flavor. Moderate bitterness (high for a pils.)

Pours clear yellow with medium white foamy/sudsy head that sticks all over the glass. Strong hop aroma with some nice sweet doughiness. Sweet, bitter, hoppy and doughy and extremely drinkable! Finish is dry and slightly bitter. Carbonation is perfect for this type of pilsner, accents the cleanness. Incredible balance.

Bottle. Bright, lemon-yellow color. 1/4" foam. Lightly fruity, distinctive hops aroma, somewhat bready. Pleasant taste wave washes steadily through roof of mouth and base of throat. One of the best pilseners I’ve ever had.

Not a big Pilsner fan - but at least this is a real pilsner with a nice, hoppy profile. Pleasant malt taste and aroma as well Very refreshing on a hot day.

Bottled - Served in a classic pilsner glass.. Pours a light golden color with a small white head... Nose is very citrusy.. with a pine hoppy scent... Flavor is hoppy/piney upfront with a nice bitter finish... very drinkable!!

Pours golden with small, but sufficent, frothy white head. Aroma of floral/grassy hops and some underlying malts. Flavor is crisp floral hops, a little bit of hoppy spice, and very balancing yeast like sweetness. Palate is medium and bitter with a bit of a resiny feel. Damn fine pilsener

On tap, nice medium amber, no head to speak op. Big Sazz Boquet. Big hop flavor with some malty sweetness and some fruity undertones. Light to medium mouth feel, great Plz.
