Clear yellow pour, looks like most any other pilsner out there, but with higher than average carbonation. Light malt on the nose, mixed with subtle hops aroma. Grassy flavor with big hops finish. A fine pilsner.

Any beer that has a picture of a Hop Flower on the bottle has to be great, and this one is no exception. Had 3 of them this week, and can’t wait to get my hands on more of them.

A beautiful pilsner. Clear gold with a bubbly white head. The aroma explodes with hops, grass, and lemons. Clean, crisp taste that perfectly balances the malt and noble hops. Dry, sweet finish. Very, very good beer.

on tap at new place "The Comet" on Connecticut Ave. in DC just up the street from Chevy Chise Wine and Liquor. went there with my brothers, an Icelander and others. we were impressed by the few (very few) but very good beers on tap and the INCREDIBLE pizza. that’s all they serve foodwise. but its worth it. anyways, very fresh. pours a slightly hazy yellow gold with a minimal white head that dissipates quickly. smells very pleasant. of white grape juice (like Welches from childhood - yummy!) as well as lemon and some other citrus hops. overall this is just a clean and refreshing beer. I was extremely impressed. crisp, dry with light dry citrus hops, lemons, slightly sweet, straw, herbs and finishes with a touch of yeast. so drinkable I drank two.

12 oz. bottle. Pours a light straw color with a small diminishing head. Aroma of sourness and some earthy hay mustiness. Some peppery notes with some sweet maltiness up front, and finishes with a hint of bitterness. Not a bad beer overall, and a really good beer for the style.

Poured from 12 oz bottle into footed pilsner. Head quickly dissipates to approx 1/4 inch and stays. Crisp malty aroma. Quick hop flavor turns to malt and back to hops where it lingers for quite a while. Lively carbonation. Bitter hop flavor is quite intense and astringent. Very refreshing.

In the bottle from utobeer. Tried after finishing work at the pub....i’ve been drinking milds and olds all night so this is nice and refreshing....I don’t have much experience with US pilsners but this is damn good! not much in the way of aroma, touch of grainy malt more than anything and that comes through in the palate. Great big malt palate that elongates the hoppy goodness, this beer is made by the palate! nice dry bitterness to finish damn good beer!

Bottle. Pours a fairly clear straw color with a nice white fizzy head. Nose is fresh wheat, gentle hops (saaz?) and a bit of lemony. Crisp, highly refined flavor. The hops are gentle and meld perfectly with the bright, citric qualities. Has only a bit of lingering bitterness. Not quite as good as the CBC pilseners from Victory, but a pleasure to drink nonetheless.
