Commercial Description:
Bottle: Filtered.
Ingredients: 2 row German pale malt; Czech Saaz, German Northern Brewer hops.
Heaps o’ hops are hiding under the full, frothy head of this elegant Pils. All German malt subtleties linger beneath a long dry finish of this classy quencher.

Good clean taste with not too much hops and not too much malt. An easy drinking beer that the masses should look for more often.

Appearance: Clear, yellow body topped by a foamy, white head that supplied clear-cut rings of lace on our way to the bottom. Smell: Aroma smelling of grainy pils malt, moist discarded lemon rinds, and fragrant, spicy hops. Taste: Grainy tasting pilsner malts with a light honeyish sweetness. Hint of lemon. Richly floral and spicy noble hops with an ingratiating medium amount bitterness. Finishes dry and quite crisp. Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied. Medium-plus carbonation. Drinkability: Keenly drinkable. One of the better American-corn pilsners around.

Bottle, pour is clear with a close to medium gold color, a white head that diminishes to a ring and cover, there is some effervescence in the glass, light faint particles in the bottle, aroma of pilsener malt, honey sweetness, has the lemon sour citrus with some sugar-honey sweetness fragrances, dry grassy light bitter hops with malt, bread and sweet bread flavors, citrus and lemon skin oil flavor with a light sugar-honey sweetness, bitterness lingers after the finish, finish is dry and has a lemon citrus touch with a touch of sour bread flavor and faint sweetness, a nice dry lemony citrus flavored pilsner.

Beautiful golden color (can’t think of a better colored pilsner). Refreshing and hoppy, but not too much so like an IPA. I can imagine that this would pair nicely with many foods. Floral aroma and great taste. Quite a pilsner.

Excellent taste, smooth, flavorsome with out being overwhelming, I can see what the person who mentioned banana bread means. Worth a trip to Philly.

12oz. bottle shared with VeloVampire - pours cystal clear golden yellow with a medium’ish white head. Aroma is of hops and somewhat sweet, not all that disimilar to Pilsner Urquell. The flavour is smooth and considerably hoppy for the style, in wonderful balance with the malt. A sweetly bready finish follows, with some nice bitterness underneath. Very creamy and smooth in the mouth. The citrusy sweetness in the finish is beautifully done, I only wish that I could pick this up on a regular basis here in Ontario. This is an absolutely perfect thirst quencher and I could drink a lot of this. This is a very well done Pilsener, one of the best I’ve had, if not the best.

Tap at Barley John’s. Clear, pale, golden with a frothy white head. Butterscotch, banana, lemony aroma. Has flavor qualities similar to a white wine like citrus with a buttery, dry mouthfeel, like Reisling, maybe. Very stylish and interesting, this is the best pilsener i know of.
