If Victory made a Imperial Pilnser and I would be hooked. homerlovesbeer (1), Pennsylvania, USA does not count | 4.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 10/10 | 4/5 | 19/20 | Nov 28, 2005 Fresher taps are highly recommeded, and a bit different than botles. Fresh taps lack the intense floral aroma, but cater to a wider audience as a result. Very crisp flavor, a hoppier, very American rendition of a European classic style. Head is full but light out of the bottle, for a pilsner the aroma will knock you out. New York Times rated this a top pils in a global test. troopie (889), USA

Clear gold colour with large white head, looks like a pilsner as drawn by an artist. Herbal nose. Malty flavour with full taste. Fine finish long and dry. This is a wonderful pilsner. I loved it. It’s only technical flaw is that it doesn’t follow the normal hopping rate of a true pilsener (true to style pilseners are usually slightly hoppier than normal lagers... This brew, however, pushes beyond the limits of normal pilsener hopping levels and actually has a an IBU level that could compete with a pale ale). That being said... I don’t care, it’s still the best pils I’ve ever had. Perfect color, as much malt & hop flavor as you can get from a pils, and completely refreshing. Another great job from Victory! tclowans (19), rolling meadows, Illinois, USA

This is the best pilsener from a domestic brewer that I’ve found after years of looking. A really crisp, snappy beer in the finest Czech style. This is really good stuff. brewmandisch (2), elkton, Maryland, USA does not count | 4.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 9/10 | 5/5 | 19/20 | Jul 19, 2008 Brings back memories of my visit to Germany. This beer is a very good representation of a true German pils. Very fresh Spalt and sazz flavor. Yellow straw color and a nice brussels lace.
