A wonderfully yeasty and wheaty brew that is rounded out with some lovely hops. Great for a hot day and perfect with BBQ. This is the John Deere Ride-On of lawnmower beers. | 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Aug 22, 2009 Pours brilliant golden with long lasting white head. Aroma of floral hops and a touch of maltiness. Quite hoppy, satisfying malt backbone. Hops are more present in the finish, for a long lingering dryness. Great pil. BückDich (4857), McCall, Idaho, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Aug 31, 2003 Pours a shimmering gold color with shining edges, not watery looking like most. Aroma is mainly malty with effects of hops shining through. Flavor is smooth and mild, so easy to drink but still with some great hop esters. I really liked this one and it taught me never to underestimate a pils. iam (369), Mississauga, Ontario, Canada

Smooth taste of malt and a nice hop bitterness. Certainly alot less bitter and lighter than I expected but nicely balanced. MaiBockAddict (1499), Good Beer Bar Deprived, New Jersey, USA

Just not my favorite pils~ DKlovesbeer (172), Sarasota, Florida, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 18/20 | Dec 5, 2004 Pours crisp, clean, and golden. Very light color with lots of carbonation. Head is fluffy, pure white, and leaves a good amount of lace as it quickly settles. Aroma is cool and hoppy with hints of malt. Somewhat typical fragrance for a lager but has a bit more cleanliness to it. The bottle I sampled expired back in April but I can’t really tell the difference. I guess I’ll have to find a fresher bottle somewhere and sample it to see if I am missing something. Flavor is sweet, hoppy, a bit fruity. Definitely not typical of the style. This is a clean crisp beer with good hops character and lots of malt complexity. After sampling a nice variety of beers I have decided that I am definitely an ale guy, but this is a lager that satisfies my palate. Overall, Prima Pils is a great session beer. I like it! haddon90 (1043), Alexandria, Virginia, USA
