Beautiful creamy-gold color. Spectacular taste (though a bit light). Quite sweet, but with a nice bitterness in the aftertaste.

Pours a nice golden color, very slightly hazed, and topped by about an inch of white foam. Moderate head retention, no real lacing. Nice hoppy aroma – quite spicy actually. The flavor is very pleasant with crisp and clean lightly toasted malt and spicy bitter hops. Medium bodied and nicely carbonated. Drinkable? Oh yeah – big time. I have said in the past that I look forward to brewpubs releasing a pils because there is nothing quite like a freshly made version. Well, now I take that back because every time I drink this beer (which is fairly often lately) I just can’t get over how fresh and sharp and tangy and clean it tastes.

this is my favorite Pilsner... other pilsners tastes like liquified dry white toast to me, this one lacks the gag tickle in the back of the throat, it’s a good, clean, crisp beer.

My favorite pils to date. Clear crisp, hopped, citrus flavor. It’s a beautiful beer to look at: slightly hazey,bright gold with a thick, blonde head and firm carbonation. I would say this is a pilsner set apart from many others, and a delicious beer regardless.

I have had this beer a number of times. It always goes down too darn quickly for me to get any sort of notes on it. Mighty tasty stuff. This time I held back to take these notes: Appearance: Pours a lemon straw yellow color with a semi hazy body and a big white head. Smell: Lemon grain and herbal hops. It is clean and certainly hoppy. Just what I expect from a German Pilsner. Its that spicy Saaz that just tickles my nose and the anticipation builds. Taste: No disappointment here. This beer is packed full of flavors and depth (for a Pilsner especially). It has a solid malt backbone (with a dash of sweetness) that holds it together and of coarse spices and grassy Saaz hop bitterness that is bold but not cloying. The aftertaste is the best part of this beer. It sticks with you relentlessly and beckons for the next sip. Thus the drinkability! WOW! Mouthfeel: Incredibly smooth and crisp with a very dry finish. Superb! Drinkability: Don’t mess around this beer is like Pringles; once you pop you can’t you can’t stop. Make sure you have plenty cuz after one you’ll want more. This beer is built for sessioning, parties and *DRINKING!* Hope this is helpful. Cheers!

Pale saffron body with a one-finger light-tan head that gradually reduces to a thin cap. Husky malt with a very herbal hop sharpness on top. Some lemongrass and floweriness. Grassy hops are at the fore here. The herbal quality runs over the light biscuity malt flavor before melding into a refreshing bitterness. The finish maintains this raw hop bitterness and introduces a sweeter malt flavor, perhaps honey-like. Some lemon zest on the sides of the tongue. Lively carbonation, light body, and extremely refreshing. Smooth in the mouth and very easy to drink. This is the Reality Czeck of German Pilseners.

Pours pretty clear, little yellow in there, small head. Smells very refreshing, hoppy. Taste is extremely crisp with a strong burst of hops. Leaves the mouth feeling refreshed and energized. Delicious beer.

Pint glass, beer was on ice for several hours, hot/humid day. I had it with tacos with a smoke jalapeno sauce. Very clear yellow/pale color and a a finish to match. Aroma is dominated by citrus and pine - excellent. May be slightly over carbonated and a little thin but I’m reaching because this beer is very very good. It may be the best pils I have ever had. Anyway, nice hop aroma and flavor but very little bitterness. Wonderful pilsener and perfect summer brew that goes down really easy. Its a light easy drinking pils thats great with food. Like the beer equivalent of a fine dry chardonnay.
