Commercial Description:
Bottle: Filtered.
Ingredients: 2 row German pale malt; Czech Saaz, German Northern Brewer hops.

courtesy of Allen - At last, I have been able to put my hands and my nose on this old classic; slightly hazy golden-yellow colour; little white foam; dusty and very hoppy nose with notes of flowers, citrus, apple and grapefruit; good malt body and with a juicy palate, solidly bitter; quite dry and long bitter fruity and flowery finish - tasty and with a lot of character: a fantastic brew

Bottle from Trader Joe’s in Orland Park, IL. Pours clear gold with a big, soft head that didn’t take long to disappear. A good example of a German-style Pils done American. Nice strong hop taste with a clean finish. Please, American brewers, more like this!

WOW!!!! This is a great beer! The hop bite is most unexpected, and very welcome. I can’t get enough of this wonderful beer.

In the nose we have pine, lemon detergent and grains. Pale, almost murky golden with a thin foamy head, somewhat lasting. Tastes frankly incredible, like a jacked up German pils replete with citrus flavours and a ton of hops. Very well-malted as well. Honey flavours round out the bitterness and noticeable alcohol. An excellent, stylish, imaginative beer.

Bottle. Wow! A huge frothy white head on a bubbly golden pilsner. A wonderful crisp and dry beer with enough hops to make it kick. Stands above other beers in this style.

They really hit you over the head with the hops on this one, and it feels good. Piny, bark like flavor. Great bitter effervencent finish. One of my favorite pilseners.

For me, this is a true pilsner. A beautiful head and a somewhat cloudy body. Everytime I have this beer the first sip is never quite like the rest. The hops really stand out in this beer. Bag the wheat beers, and drink this all summer.

Very strong hops aroma with a hint of pine as I was pouring the beer. Very interesting. This is a pal golden beer that pours with a very nice head that lasts well and leaves a nice lace. The aroma is spicy hops, with a hint of something that I can only call a pine-like smell for lack of better terminology. The mouthfeel is very full bodied and silky. It has a nice hops kick in the aftertaste, but the malt is very present in the mouth.
