fredandboboflo (619), East Setauket, New York, USA Jun 23, 2008 Bottle, best by Aug 04 08. Aroma lemony with solid malt background, herbal hops. Lots of the hops in the flavor, herbal, grassy, almost spicy, with that strong malt base holding strong. Dried apple, apple skin, almost leathery. Full bodied. Very nice.
Monty1163 (1), , Ohio, USA does not count Oct 3, 2008 Aroma - Pleasant aroma balanced hop & malt and something else...
Appearance - Traditional golden fizzy
Flavor - Complex and Yum strong spicy hop presence.
Palate - the good stays with you all the way to the back of the tongue.
OI - Great beer will definitely buy again. I am usually partial to ales but never scoff at a great beer no matter the style. This beer has a nice balance on noticeable hops that are missing in many pils
daknole (838), Plantation, Florida, USA Oct 1, 2008 Cloudy golden pour with a nice head. Aroma is not your typical pils by any means. You can tell it has some pils qualities but the delicious hops in the nose set this one apart from most. Flavor is yeasty and hoppy...but not bitter or resiny. This is a good beer. I am very glad I finally got to try it. jrmac (135), USA Sep 30, 2008 Decent, but for me I was expecting more. Taste and smells like hops. Just a touch of barely existent malt. Not a repeater for me. AmEricanbrew (1008), Swamp Shreveport, Left Coast, Louisiana, USA Sep 30, 2008 Hazy gold with a white head. Big yeasty, peppery pale lager aromas. Medium body with a rough mouthfeel. Nice flavor is dryish spices with dusty pale malts. Has a peppery dry bitterness to finish. Nice Pils. gringo332 (95), Richardson, Texas, USA Sep 25, 2008 Don’t particularly care for the aroma of pilsners. Tastes prettyhoppy, like an IPA. Very clear color.
