kidmartinek (734), austin, Texas, USA Feb 3, 2008 Updated: Apr 10, 2008 It’s a beer with that excellent pale straw yellow pour. The head is nice and laces the glass like it should, moderately light. This beer has a supreme bland skunky aroma like a good pils should and I haven’t even tasted it yet. Dare I say it’s pale yet cloudy... awesome. The flavor is something to relish in. It’s underground, earthen, medium hop bitter, a little funky and sour, full, full flavored, and the taste lasts. The consistency is pure refreshment. Prosit!

Great that even two star restaurants have craft beers nowadays.
Full malty flavour, hoppy aroma, dry crisp finish. An ideal food companion. Acknud (611), Morganfield, Kentucky, USA Oct 11, 2008 Nice pils. Pretty yellow color with a small head. Aroma of grassy hops and malt. Nice crisp mouth with good hop finish. chrisafari (96), Orange, California, USA Oct 11, 2008 On Tap at the Father’s Office, Culver City. Aroma: fresh cut grass and fresh earthy hops. Pours clear golden with small white head, good head retention for a pils. Flavor: begins mellow and untraceable then becomes nicely spicy and hoppy. Finishes with a surprising roasted malt character in the throat. medium-light to light body. Very drinkable! I’ll admit it, I’m biased to Ales. But, this Pilsener is a revelation! A very enjoyable and hoppy Lager!! Nice for the warmer spring and summer months. probstk (695), Nepean, Ontario, Canada Oct 8, 2008 12 fl. oz. bottle from BOTW (Rochester), served at cellar temperature in a tulip glass. SE04/08.
App.: Golden, clear, decent white head.
Aroma: Fruity, biscuits, bread crust, slightly soapy, some green and pepper hops, an odd aroma that I can’t describe and don’t like...
Palate: Medium+ body, fairly soft carbonation, smooth.
Flav.: Lightly fruity, much more hops – grassy, peppery, and still soapy, may be some light tropical fruit esters; dry with fair bitterness.
Nicht prima, aber gut. Monty1163 (1), , Ohio, USA does not count Oct 3, 2008 Aroma - Pleasant aroma balanced hop & malt and something else...
Appearance - Traditional golden fizzy
Flavor - Complex and Yum strong spicy hop presence.
Palate - the good stays with you all the way to the back of the tongue.
OI - Great beer will definitely buy again. I am usually partial to ales but never scoff at a great beer no matter the style. This beer has a nice balance on noticeable hops that are missing in many pils
