Draft at Bottleworks. Something odd about this beer. Nose has something earthy or fecal to it. Not entirely pleasant. otherwise much as expected, earthy, spicy, above-average hoppiness, round, classic, slightly butery palate. Okay, not as exceptional as I had expected.

Blonde, crisp carbonation, spritely with a light, lacey head. Neutral hoppy, on the floaral side. European hop flavor, bittered honey. Crisp, refreshing, generally not my style, but another well-crafted, commendable pilsener from Victory.

Draught @ Victory: This one pours a fairly clear, golden color. There was a large white head on it that left some lacing. The aroma is good. It was grassy, floral and had some faint pine notes. The taste starts out a touch fruit but not sweet. Then the dryness takes over. A nice bitter finish, with a hint of pine. A very good beer!

Tap at Brewpub today. Pours golden yellow with a bright white ring. Nose has a touch of hops. Taste is hoppy, smooth and pungent.

On tap at the brewpub. Second best beer of the night after another pilsener that is unamed in the database here. Fresh, grassy aroma. Strikingly clean and mellow body, with a fresh hoppy twang, clean citrus fruits like lemon and orange are in the mix somewhere. Exceptionally balanced and delicious. The hoppier of the two pilseners I sampled tonight at Victory.

Brewed in the USA....... Pours a golden color with a nice medium foamy white head. Aroma of lemons, straw and hops. The taste has some floral notes, a hint of grass, lemons and malts. The mouthfeel is wonderful, crisp clean and extremely refreshing. This is the best pilsener that i’ve had so far. Another fantastic job from the crew at Victory.

On tap at brewpub. The star of the show. An absolutely perfect pils. Notes of hay and lemon. A smooth brew that brings new meaning to the term drinkability. Finishes dry, leaving you wanting more. So upset that the brewery does not allow growler fills of this!!
