| 4.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Jan 29, 2009 Golden color with a nice pillowy head. Aroma is biscuity with some sharp citrus and floral hops poking through. Flavor has some nice breadiness and fresh floral and citrus hops that really rock the tastebuds. Probably the best pils I’ve ever had. Dickinsonbeer (3500), Hoboken, New Jersey, USA
| 4.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 5/5 | 9/10 | 5/5 | 17/20 | Jan 25, 2009 Half Liter at Victory. Pours a nice clear gold with good carbonation and a great lasting pure white head- great lace. Aroma is a great balance between fresh doughy pils malts (a bit more malt than prima, hallertauer, tettnang, harvest, or any of their other pilsners) with a great herbal and lightly floral hop kick- extremely fresh and very pronounced spicy hop character all around. Flavor has more doughiness, tons of fresh pilsner malt, good backbone for the hops- spicy, lightly herbal and floral just beautifully fresh. Ridiculously crisp finish with lingering fresh bread, and a great hop bite which isn’t too assertive. Excellent pilsner from Victory- might be my new favorite from them. | 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 3/5 | 17/20 | Nov 26, 2008 Sample from Brewpub. Pale gold pour with a fruity nose. Fruity and perfumy flavor, but not in a bad way…like a bouquet of spring flowers. A mild hoppiness was present with a grassy hay flavor and a moderate level of sweetness. Easy drinking and quite delicious, honestly. The best of the new beers at Victory. afireinside96 (841), Mountville, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Nov 26, 2008 On tap at the brewpub. Cloudy light gold body topped by a diminishing white head. Smells of lemon and herbal hops. Taste is herbal, floral, lemon, and a touch of white pepper. Quite a tasty pils. WISEGUY572 (1250), Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Nov 1, 2008 Updated: Aug 30, 2009Easy drinking. Nose of straw and floral hops and light malt. No surprise; taste of malt, floral hops, salty fresh Saaz, and a strongly bitter finish. Appearance and mouth feel about average, as I would expect from a Plis or a lager, but this had a great bitter bite in the finish. And I just had a bottle prepared for the GABF ... and perhaps even a bit better than I remember. Slightly citrus in the bitter bite.
