| 4.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 5/5 | 9/10 | 5/5 | 17/20 | Jan 25, 2009 Half Liter at Victory. Pours a nice clear gold with good carbonation and a great lasting pure white head- great lace. Aroma is a great balance between fresh doughy pils malts (a bit more malt than prima, hallertauer, tettnang, harvest, or any of their other pilsners) with a great herbal and lightly floral hop kick- extremely fresh and very pronounced spicy hop character all around. Flavor has more doughiness, tons of fresh pilsner malt, good backbone for the hops- spicy, lightly herbal and floral just beautifully fresh. Ridiculously crisp finish with lingering fresh bread, and a great hop bite which isn’t too assertive. Excellent pilsner from Victory- might be my new favorite from them.
