Poured from a bottle into the Sam Adams glass. Poured a clear golden color with a smallish white head. It has a malty aroma along with some floral hops. Taste of faint roasted malts and light hops come through at the end. A nice session beer.

Dec 14, 2009 the body is cloudy like a hefe, the aroma is of banana like a hefe, the taste is malt, notes of banana, and some citrus. Great Lager! Fun to drink.

Nov 28, 2009 Bottle. Poured into pint glass directly from fridge. Basically, its a massive let down. I like quite a few of the other beers from Victory but they can keep this one. I had heard good things about this beer but its pretty weak overall. A little malt, a little hops, decent carbonation, weak head, clear light yellow in color, little lacing, some faint sweetness initially, weird sweet yet musty finish, thin on the palate, basically boring - a little of everything but nothing really interesting. There are much less expensive lagers that are its equal.

Nov 23, 2009 A pretty solid lager. Had on tap at Mudville 9. Rich malt aroma and flavor, with a nice dose of hops to create some complexity. Some caramel notes. Mild bitterness on the finish.

Oct 28, 2009 A typical helles. Aroma was so so. LIght sweet malt with a hint of graininess. Pour was a light gold with nice small rising bubbles and a 2 finger white head. Taste was weak and watery. The only real flavor present is the light malt and a slight vegetal aftertaste. Very average.

Oct 4, 2009 Really really pale colored, fizzy with no head and lots of bubbles inhabiting the sides of the glass. Aroma is grassy, wheaty, corny. Pretty ordinary.

Sep 28, 2009 Bottle. 12 oz. Pours clear golden with a thin white head. Aroma is weak, with hints of hops, wheat, and malt. Thin body and weak mouthfeel. Modest finish. Average lager from an otherwise outstanding brewery.
