Gregis (937), Shawnee, Kansas, USA Aug 27, 2008 Bottle shared by theisti. Pours a golden-amber with a thin white skin and spotty lace. The nose is of sweet citrus, pears and candy sugar with a nice Belgian yeast note in support. Light to medium-bodied and slick with tongue-tickling carbonation and a clean fruity finish. The flavor follows the nose yielding a very straight-forward and drinkable saison. Thanks for sharing this with us, Tim. :)
RIXbeer (102), USA Nov 28, 2008 The date on the bottle says "Bottled Jul 02 07" Off the shelf (and just received by my local store on 5-13-08) Pours an orange-yellowish brew with a light fluffy white head. Light shine into but not all the way through. Smells of orange and coriander. Actually the coriander is overwhelming in this brew. Tastes like many belgian brews like De Dolle. I’m not sure what that is. The yeast? The water? I don’t know but it reminds me of licking a metal spoon (not silver but maybe tin or something). Feels like a beer with light bubbles that tend to sit in the back of your throat a little bit. Pretty drinkable but it’ll mess you up! Awesome, this beer has been aged/matured for me....:) CharlesDarwin (1442), State College, Pennsylvania, USA Nov 27, 2008 750mL Bottle. Soft apple aroma, with some yeast, bread and alcohol. Pours a cloudy yellow orange, with a white rim. A waffling alcoholic, phenol and light rubber character. Wet and sugary. Edges on cloying. Some higher alcohols confuse me and the sugars get coarse and lost amongst a swampy spice run. Very mediocre for the style. I see this as flabby, overly rich and not holding the best aspects of this style. Low on the hops. FlssmrBrewAlum (316), South Chicago Suburbs, Illinois, USA Oct 30, 2008 22 oz bottle shared at a beer tasting / monopoly game with my girlfriend and close friends. Poured a nice golden hue, maybe slightly hazed, with a prominent carbonated white head that sticks around. Aromas are fruity, apples and pear mixed with some light belgian yeasty spice and a touch of earthy hops. Taste is similar, but lighter bodied. Some light fruitiness in the background mirroring the aromas, mixed with some light earthy barnyard notes and a touch of belgian yeastiness. Subtle, on the lighter side of medium bodied, but delicate and tasty. Yum Pailhead (2339), Allen Park, Michigan, USA Oct 29, 2008 Courtesy of Secret Santa July ’08

Bottle: The aroma consists of sweet apple, yeast, must, and light floral notes. It pours a golden orange with a small white head. The flavor starts with sweet apple and yeast up front. The finish is mildly floral with some subtle spice. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. KornDogg (39), Lancaster, Pennsylvania, USA Oct 20, 2008 hint of honey...tart flavor with a bit of a light floral after taste... refreshing
