Bottle adds to the presentation effect. Limited, but icy head. Hoppy, yeasty, slightly sweet in aroma. Smooth, somewhat malty, high alcohol flavoring flows from tongue to the back of the throat and through the nostrils. I can feel the alcohol inling my skin. Very nice - my friend drinking a cognac opposite me right now is jealous.

| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Mar 14, 2007 750ml Bottle - pours a dark coppery clear with a compact persistent 1/4 foam, well carbonated. Aroma is sweet with beligan yeasty notes. Flavor when chilled is sweet raisins, malts and the belgian yeast flavors that get dominated by the alcohol present in the finish. The alcohol burn overwhelms the flavor as it warms. keepersj12 (810), Sicklerville, New Jersey, USA
