Had a strange dry, citrus/spice flavor that is definitely unique, but does not really measure up against other witbiers. Head was almost nonexistent. mhelgason (495), Charlotte, North Carolina, USA

More wheat, light spice, and a little fruitiness in the flavor. Very light, and not much going on for me. taalhiker (179), Dayton, Ohio, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Sep 9, 2008 From bottle. August Dayton Beer Tasting event - Favorite Summer Brews. Poured very yellow - more color that expected. Aroma and flavor mirror each other - spices, banana, malt. Better than expected but still not best in class. hogan873 (334), Joliet, Illinois, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Sep 5, 2008 Yellow body with virtually no head. Aroma is very interesting. Banana bread, orange, coriander, and some earthy undertones. The mouthfeel is what I’d expect from a Witbier. Smooth at first and then the bite. The flavor, much like the aroma is complex. Banana, bubblegum, coriander, and some malt. Finishes quite clean. This is a very good summer beer that really doesn’t fit into the category of a summer beer. More like a spring white ale or even a year-rounder. emacgee (1892), Chapel Hill, North Carolina, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Sep 1, 2008 Pours a hazy murky amber with a one finger frothy white head. The nose was very funky, earthy, some orange peel, spice, lemongrass. The flavor was very spicy and peppery, wheaty, orange, crisp, some lemongrass. The palate was crisp and a bit bubbly. Overall not too bad.
