Initial taste is of lemons. Spice, citrus, and yeast come out in the flavor. Thin body with a soft finish. Yeasty citrus note lingers. pepsican (885), The Student Ghetto, Iowa, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 14/20 | Jun 14, 2008 Pours gold with a medium sized white head. Slight wheat and yeasty banana aroma. Flavor is up front wheat, yeast, pepper, lemon, orange peel, some malt, the slightest bit of bubblegum. Finishes watery, kind of backwards for this style as everything is very subdued. moelikebeer (219), St. Paul, Minnesota, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Jun 13, 2008 Bottle. Cloudy, dark golden pour with very little head. Subtle aroma of wheat and yeast. Flavor of wheat, yeast and spice. Somewhat soapy flavor. Unlike any witbier I’ve had before. GMCC2181 (861), Bear/Elkton, Delaware, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jun 12, 2008 Bottle: Cloudy orange in color, small head, lots of "floaties" hanging around. Aroma of spices and sweetness. Taste sweet corainder, spices and a hint of orange. Tart. Not a thick texture but heavier then most witbiers I have had. Also low on carbonation. Overall a good witbier that I would buy again. dpjuart (670), Indiana, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 2/5 | 13/20 | Jun 3, 2008 12 oz. bottle. Pours a hazy golden with a fizzy, two finger white head that dissipates to a thin, rimming white fizz. Nose is citrus and spice, slight banana and bubblegum with some wheat malt notes. Taste is absurdly thin with no carbonation. It must have all left with the head. The taste itself is malty goodness, bready with bright citrus notes of lemon and orange. There’s a decent amount of spice in there, coriander and a touch of clove. End is slightly crisped by the hops, but a yeasty note lingers for a second before being overtaken by a blend of lemon and orange. Moderately watery and thin. I really wish the carbonation wouldn’t have left so quickly. With a slight increase in carb. to thicken up the body, this beer would be much better. Tasty beer, though. | 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jun 2, 2008 Bronze or dark gold in color. Unfiltered and tasty. I bought it because of the image on the bottle and was happy with the beer inside. If you like witbiers this is a must try. sirpsycho (345), Murrysville, Pennsylvania, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 2/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Jun 1, 2008 Bottle. Hazy, pale yellow pour. Aroma is spicy and malty. Flavor is a spicy also, wheat and citrusy, a little aggressive with the carbonation, but not in a bad way. A different twist on a Wit. gws57 (1137), Saint Charles, Illinois, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | May 30, 2008 Found this bottled at the Woodman’s in North Aurora, Illinois. Cloudy, dark yellow pour with no head at all, very light malty, lemony and banana nose, nice but typical white beer flavor, with some berry, baked bread, and a bit of spice. Soft finish. Not bad but I’ve had better white beers.
