Bready yeast aroma with hints of citrus and sweet orange candy. Light to medium bodied with a zing of carbonation. Orange zest and lemon flavors followed by grassy bite. A bit weak and watery. Fairly clean finish, could use some hop tones. TonyDiUlio (197), New Jersey, USA
| 4.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 10/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Apr 12, 2008 what a delicious belgian white. It did everything to satisfy me. the flavor was perfect with just the right amount of wheat in it. It was definitely one of the best wits i’ve tried. It was smooth to drink and tingled that palate. Great beer. blipp (1752), Newark, New Jersey, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Apr 12, 2008 Bottle. Pours cloudy gold with a white head. Aroma first hits as zesty lemon, followed by spices, nutmeg and clove, as well as a hint of tea. Medium body. Flavor is lemon and spice. Subtle hints of nutmeg, clove and iced tea. Very good for it’s style. CharlesDarwin (1864), Point Judith, Rhode Island, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Apr 11, 2008 On tap at the High Street Pub - Bellefonte, PA. Rubbery weizen-like aroma. Rather light and fluffy. Pours a hazed, opal-tinted straw yellow, with a thin rim of oily white nested in the corners of the glass. Flavor is gentle and sweet, with a bit of grass, aged peaches, and brandy wisps. Pretty bland all around and mostly clean, but I’m really not digging the yeast profile. I want more toothy, chewy wheat and bread, instead I’ve got higher yeast products that lend more off-kilter spiciness. Finishes with an astonishing juicy, round hop resin. If colder and with some more carbonation, this would be good. blankboy (3260), Toronto, Ontario, Canada
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Apr 11, 2008 Bottle. Pours a very hazy yellow with an average size diminishing foamy white head. Aroma’s sweet and fruity (lots of banana) along with Belgian yeast and very light hops. Flavour’s a touch watery perhaps but not much. Belgian yeast, sweet malt, citrus fruit and a quick bitter finish -- there’s not much there, not getting much spices either, maybe faintly. Oddly I’m getting a hint of tomato juice in the aroma and flavour. Average bodied. A decent version of the style. emerica56 (587), Bristol, Rhode Island, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Apr 9, 2008 This beer pours a pale yellow color with a fizzy off white head that fades rather quickly. The aroma is of lemon zest with some hints of spice mainly clove but nothing too fragrant. also from the look of it there was some suspended matter in it which could be due to unfilitration. the flavor is spicy with lots of clove and orange peel with a bready finish. there were some bitter hops but the finish is a bit on the water side and kind of dulled the flavor down. lemasney (398), Trenton, New Jersey, USA

Overall experience: 15 out of 20. I liked the aroma and flavor, generally, though it was nothing outstanding - seems akin to a hoegaarden. I did not like the lack of lace, head, color depth, flavor depth, or individuality. Not a typical Victory brew, but only detrimental in its lightness. Alldaydrinker (558), Norwood, Massachusetts, USA
