Aug 23, 2007 On tap. Not particularly impressive. Light, cloudy yellow with thin head. Aroma was weak. Taste was mildly spicy but soon fell flat. Some other weird taste I couldn’t identify and didn’t like.

Aug 16, 2007 Updated: Jun 8, 200812oz bottle. Aroma of some sort of spice and malt. Smooth palate with more malt, some coriander, didnt taste much orange as other witbiers. Call me crazy but this is one of my favorite Wits.

Aug 14, 2007 Light orange straw with a small white head. Pleasant nose of sweet spiced malt. Slightly sweet at first with a little clove and very carbonated with small bubbles that sting the palate a little. It finishes very dry, slightly hoppy, and there’s this weird corn taste too? Not bad.

"It is a solid beer and nice addition to the Victory lineup; like a 8-8 football season."
Well, chalk this one in the Wild Card position for the playoffs. A much improved Whirlwind Wit was tasted recently by yours truly, and the fading, soft taste that cascades down your throat has vanished! A more defined, but still soft taste of the Belgian yeast and citrus carbonation sllowly hits your taste buds and throat but does not leave you saying, "I remember tasting something...." Well done.

Aug 12, 2007 Extremely pale yellow, average size head. Nice spicy peppery aroma. Strong clove & all spice flavor, clean and smooth, very refreshing.

Aug 6, 2007 pours a hazy light straw in color with light carbination and a good bit of yeast in the bottom of the bottle. smell is alcohol, spices, some citrus peel, and some light fruit like pear or apples. taste is on the light side, the carbination gives a nice mouth feel and is about right for the beer,definite spices and yeast make for a good summer beer but could have a little more body.
