| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Aug 14, 2006 Updated: May 28, 2007Re-rate. Pours slightly hazy, straw golden with a fair, foamy and bubbly head. Pleasant aroma of sweet and sour citrus, and light spice from the yeast. Flavor is citric upfront, but less than expected. More muted spice, and light musty yeast mid-palate, with slightly spicy, sour lemon-zest in the finish. Palate is fairly light, a bit watery, but lightly spiced, with a bit of sour zest hanging on. Although my previous rating of this brew was a bit higher (I think was just happy to find a wheat beer that I enjoyed a bit 7 4 7 3 17) this is still a very enjoyable brew. | 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Aug 13, 2006 One bottle from BOTW. No head to speak of on this one. Aroma of lemon, wheat, and corriander. Flavor the same with some spices. I then added some lemon that makes some of these more enjoyable to me. Refreshing Juelze (904), Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Aug 13, 2006 Pours a light gold color. Strog smell of clove, , lemon and orange. Taste mirrors the flavor with abundant citrus in the profile. Lightly carbonated, very aromatic. Great witbier, I’d even say it’s better then Hoegarden. jb (1043), Rochester, New York, USA

Could have more bitter notes. Clearly reminiscent of Belgian witbier. Tihirst quencher. recahing for a second right now! Blackbarrel (116), new york, New York, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Aug 2, 2006 very fun: Unbelievably pale as it pours, darkens slightly in the glass. Head is not worth mentioning and the beer looks clear after a few minites. There is something quite christmasy about this, and that doesn’t seem odd for a summer beer to me, as I grew in the southern hemishpere. Must be the cloves, and old brandy essences I detect. Although its my type of beer, Victory have excelled themselves (as always) in their interpretation. Highly satlsfactory.
