Jul 13, 2006 Bottle sampled with beerded_one. Pours hazy yellow with a decent sized white head. Aroma of spices, citrus, yeast, wheat, and fruit. The flavor is sweet, wheat, spices, slight sour notes, with a tiny bitter hops finish. Good body, good brew.

Jul 10, 2006 I really don’t understand this style too much, but I tried to give it the benefit of the doubt anyway. It seems like a good example of the style, but it’s just too light for me. The spice flavors are up front, with something nice (was that fruit? candy?) lurking just beneath. Not terrible, but I’d rather have almost anything else from Victory.

Jul 8, 2006 Pours a light gold, almost like ginger ale. It has a fruit hopped wheat nose. It tastes very fresh, nice sweet, spicy wheat flavor. Goes down smooth, a nice summer ale.

Jun 23, 2006 Very light yellow color with thin white head. Aromas of lemon juice, corriander, white pepper, lemon zest, and spice. The flavor largely consists of lemon and white pepper, with some lemon zest, corriander, and some orange sprinkled in. Palate is thin and non carbonated.

Jun 19, 2006 12-oz., trade with BeachBum25. Pours bright straw yellow with a quickly diminishing white head, no lace. Lots of sugar and cotton candy on the nose. Body is lower side of medium, with very little carb. Very clean and light flavors--a bit of sugar on the attack, a little bit of sour on the finish, but just a puff. Not a style-conformist, and not complex, but very sessionable.
