| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Jul 21, 2009 12 oz. bottle. Pours a slightly hazy yellow with a small, foamy, white head. Lots of little particles in suspension in this one. Strong, almost artificial, lemon and wheat notes in the nose. Light floral notes peek out as well. Medium, smooth carbonation with a light mouthfeel. The lemon on the palate is much more subdued than in the nose. Clove, coriander, light wheat, and some dustiness come along for the ride on the tongue as well. There is also a little light graininess and some light floral notes as the beer warms. The taste is suprisingly pleasant as the nose almost reminded me of an artificial laden radler. Highly drinkable, especially on a hot day. While there are superior wits, this one isn’t a bad way to go if you run into it. beernovice39 (301), South Carolina, USA

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jul 13, 2009 Enjoyed from a 12oz bottle in a pub glass. The beer pours the expected hazy yellow with a white head. Aromas of spice, Wit yeast, and perhaps a bit of wheat come through in the nose. The palate is a nice combination of yeast-derived esters, spice, and malt bill additives. It does not possess the complexity of a Hoegaarden, but there is a nice melange of flavors. At the same time, the mouthfeel was a bit thinner than I would have liked/expected. Overall, not a bad example. Barrios (860), Nashville, Tennessee, USA
