Commercial Description:
A swirling dynamo of flavor, with a steady calm of satisfaction at its heart, that's Whirlwind Witbier. Offering a tamed tempest of flavors both spicy and sublime, this softly fermented ale greets the nose and tingles the tongue. Imported Belgian yeast charges Whirlwind with an energy all its own. It is a refreshing interpretation of the classic, Belgian 'white beer' style.

12 oz bottle. Cloudy pale yellow with short-lived lacy white head. Bananas, yeast, a little lemon pepper. Tastes a bit lemony and doughy. Medium mouthfeel disolves into fine carb. Dry, sort of metallic, hops come through. Cream of wheat aftertaste lingers.

Pours hazy, straw yellow with a small, fading white head. The aroma is strong piney coriander, lemon and light bananas. The flavor is spicey and slightly tart, very refreshing, and follows the nose. Finish is slightly metallic. Mouthfeel is light and lively.

Thanks goes out to Immy for this 12oz bottle. Pour was a straw yellow with a white head. Aroma was of coriander, spices, and wheat. This was a good light bodied beer with the flavors of spices with a touch of lemon mixed in with the wheat. A good summer drink.

quite a tasty wit...typical straw body with whispy white head...aroma is of a typical wit lemon, spice, and wheat)...flavor is quite refreshing, and is quite similar to the aroma and strikingly smooth...an excellent beer to drink on a summer afternoon

From bottle thanks to Immy. Pours a straw colored yellow with white head. Coriander, lemon, spices and a syrupy scent in the nose. Flavor follows with other spices as well, maybe some cinnamon. A too thin body keeps this one from the top of the Witbiers.

12 oz bottle. Hazy yellow with a medium size white head. Lots of carbonation. Nose is predominantly coriander, some spiciness and wheat are detectable. Spicy coriander and clove flavors, some lemon over smooth wheat. Light body and a spicy finish cap this off. Really a nice summertime beer.

Pours light gold with little head. Standard flavors of citrus with a wheaty finish. Almost a creamy palate. Not my favorite style but definitely worth a try.
