Commercial Description:
A swirling dynamo of flavor, with a steady calm of satisfaction at its heart, that's Whirlwind Witbier. Offering a tamed tempest of flavors both spicy and sublime, this softly fermented ale greets the nose and tingles the tongue. Imported Belgian yeast charges Whirlwind with an energy all its own. It is a refreshing interpretation of the classic, Belgian 'white beer' style.

i really enjoyed this beer. Though not the best wheat beer, i have gotten many cases of this and chilled on the porch some summer nights. I like the cloudy look and it goes down really easy.

Bottle. Somewhat cloudy and yellow with tiny particles suspended evenly throughout. Aroma is faint and mostly wheaty with some citrus. Wheat dominates the flavor as well, but some banana, lemon and orange sneak in when the wheat isn’t looking. The finish is a bit sour. Surprisingly, for a wit, I didn’t detect too much spice with this one.

Pours a slightly cloudy yellowish murky color with a white head. Smell is weak, best described as a weak wheat summer ale with a slight lemony scent. Taste has a light banana feel to it with lemon and wheat detected. A nice summer beer but not much of a taste. Below average for a Victory beer.

Pours a hazy yellow gold with a thin snow white head. Smell is spicy and lightly sweet wheat malt. Tastes of sweet wheat malt, spicy and lemony. Light banana. Mouth is lightly sticky and yet crisp in the finish. Not bad but somehow it’s a bit thin and the flavors just don’t quite mesh. A decent enough summer beer though.

Soapy head disappears quickly. Cloudy, yellow color. Wheat and coriander pervae the taste. A nice, refreshing. light-bodied summer beer.

Cloudy yellow body, thin off-white head. Tangy wheat, wet hay, and coriander aroma. Flavor is bready and wheaty with coriander and clove, giving this beer a touch of hefeweizen character. Crisp finish, smooth with little lingering bite. Refreshing and flavorful without being overbearing.

Draft at Mellow Mushroom’s Victory tasting party. Not a bad wit, but I’ve had better (and very worse). This was fairly spicy, but again, I’ve had better. Great lawn mower brew!

Out of a bottle, thanks richlikebeer at the festa. Aroma very wheaty. Poured a nice light golden, thin white head. Flavor very lemony and light a tad spicy. Palate was also very light airy. Overall a good summer beer and good Wit. Tasty.
