emerica56 (432), Bristol, Rhode Island, USA Apr 9, 2008 This beer pours a pale yellow color with a fizzy off white head that fades rather quickly. The aroma is of lemon zest with some hints of spice mainly clove but nothing too fragrant. also from the look of it there was some suspended matter in it which could be due to unfilitration. the flavor is spicy with lots of clove and orange peel with a bready finish. there were some bitter hops but the finish is a bit on the water side and kind of dulled the flavor down.
amish_caravan (163), Winona, Minnesota, USA Jul 8, 2008 pours a golden yellow with little head. scent of correander and some wheat and citrus. taste is the same. this beer goes down very smooth. very refreshing. I would purchase this again. IlanMan (454), Winona, Minnesota, USA Jul 8, 2008 medium golden pour with a white head. Aroma balanced well with sweet orange peel and coriander. Flavor is more dominated by coriander and needs a bit more orange to balance this factor out. Good carbonation. Decent brew but could be a little better balanced. May buy again. graham515 (271), Austin, Texas, USA Jul 6, 2008 Accidentally served as Prima Pils. I took one sip and inquired further with the bartender and management. Turned out to be a delightful witbier. Nice citrusy aroma with a spicy taste to it. zeke626 (173), Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA Jul 4, 2008 Bottle, pours a cloudy, yellow-orange body with a rather short lasting white head. Quite a bit of suspended sediment in the pour. Aroma of orange and lemon peel, yeast, and biscuit. Somewhat fizzy mouthfeel. Zesty citrus flavor with hints of biscuit and spice. Clean, tangy, orange finish. hellbilly (739), scottsdale über alles, Arizona, USA Jun 30, 2008 BB 3/5/9 almost cloudy hazy yellow orange color topped by a little white head. big time savory yeast aroma... yeasty, lemon yogurt, light banana and spice. the palate is quite spicy and dry... flavors of yeast, banana/fruitiness, lemony tartness and orange on the finish. medium body with soft airy carbonation. no lactic-like stickiness in the back of the throat. this is certainly tasty and refreshing when it’s cold. unfortunately, it turns rather soapy and harsh as it warms... reminds me of freezer burnt wheat bread.
