joekfsu (138), Boardman, Ohio, USA Jun 19, 2008 12 oz bottle. Pours a slightly hazy, golden yellow with 2 cm of white foamy, quickly diminishing head. Aroma is floral and fruity, lemon and a hint of orange. Initial flavor is kind of a watered down citrus drink with some wheat. End flavor is similar, after taste is not long lived. Light body, minimal carbonation, minimal lacing, and the alcohol really never made it out in taste or aroma. Overall, it falls into a style of beer I tend not to appreciate, but I guess it is par for the course.
Acknud (611), Morganfield, Kentucky, USA Oct 6, 2008 Pretty much blah. All the categories were just middle of the road. Spices were subtle but present. rkuhnel (1148), Eureka, California, USA Sep 21, 2008 Interesting beer this was a very cloudy orange color with a fast fading head and not much lacing. Nose of spices such as cloves . Mouthfeel was slightly slick and the flavor was brisk with lots of cloves and some banana making it take like a hefe. Finish was this beers high point, with a long and spicy aftertaste. Thanks bhensonb. AMN (113), Dublin, Pennsylvania, USA Sep 21, 2008 Not too impressive. Had a strange dry, citrus/spice flavor that is definitely unique, but does not really measure up against other witbiers. Head was almost nonexistent. mhelgason (447), Charlotte, North Carolina, USA Sep 20, 2008 small white head into muted yellowish-orange body. aromas of moderate spices with some yeast (bubblegum). flavor is lightly bittersweet throughout. lively carbonation. slightly dry texture. moderate thickness in mouthfeel. alright wit. bhensonb (3017), Woodland, California, USA Sep 19, 2008 Hazy orangey color with a disappearing head. Aroma of tart citrus. Medium body with mild carbonation. Flavor is wheat, with touches of spice (clove), banana and citrus. Finish is nice and pleasant. Balanced.
