Copper penny brown w/a lasting light beige head. Citrusy & grassy hops co mingling w/ caramel and toasted malts, with some powdered malt and roasty aromas here and there. There’s also a bit of soapiness to the hops that comes and goes. Oddly enough, a tad bit of black licorice in the aroma as well. Flavor is citrus and piney dominated from start to finish, but it’s not overwhelming. There’s a bit of a roasted malt flavor that finds it’s way through the hops though, and some light caramel for good measure. Clean of most fruitiness except where the hops are concerned. The balance is lightly to bitter, lingering, and pleasant. The finish is spicy hop flavored on continues into the aftertaste. Medium full body, low medium CO2, and pleasantly dry on the tongue from alcohol and resins. Overall a solid beer. Well made and hop dominated to the very end. I’d like to see a bit more malt character, but that’s just my opinion.

To quote Macho Man Randy Savage, "OHH YEEAH, DIGG IT!" This is really good stuff. Pretty red with fluffy off white head. Nice hoppy flavor with the malts in back. I see many think this is too hoppy?? Well this is no hop bomb by any means, just a smooth bitter biter. Course I quoted a wrestler, so what do i know?

12 oz bottle. Poured clear dark amber in color with a medium sized tan head that left nice lacing on the glass. Aroma of piney american hops, grapefruit, and caramel. Tastes of roasted malts, hefty american hops, pine, grapefruit, lightly burnt caramel. Pretty nice stuff.

Pours a dark reddish-brown with a big frothy tan head. Overwhelming scent of pine and hops. Taste is hops, hops, hops & HOPS. There is some mild maltiness that balances out the long, bitter finish but this beer is very intense and overwhelming. I’m not too sure about this beer. Perhaps just not in the mood for this style, Sadly this is the only one i have.

too much bitterness takes over the taste.nice roasted taste afterwards but not something id recommmend to someone thats lookin to try victory for the first time.

Glad this finally came in at the bottle shop near me. Awesome hop explosion on the nose and the palate. With that kind of hop blast, you would think its overly dry or bitter, but it wasn’t. It was smooth as the malts mellowed out the finish. Just awesome beer.

Clear dark brown with a fizzy off white head. Soapy grapefruit and pine aroma and taste with decent bitterness and a chewy palate.

12oz bottle: Pours to a dark amber-brown with a medium tan head. The aroma is spruce, citrus hops, along with mild hints of licorice, roasted malt, light chocolate and a bit of over-ripe plum. The taste is bitter citrus/earthy hops up front, with a bit of fruity, almost strawberry hops next, then dry chocolate/roasted malt, a bit of fried banana, mild alcohol flavor, and then more hops. Finishes with a bit of earthy, grassy hops and bits of roasted malt, though definitely much milder roast flavor than that of a porter. Medium bodied, medium carbonated.
