Medium to low carboantion. Meidum bodied. Dry finish. Maria (3975), Thisted, Denmark May 11, 2008 From tap at Vielanker Brauhaus. It’s very dark brown with a nice, creamy head. The aroma has notes of coffee and roasted malt - nice. The flavour has notes of coffee, roasted malt, a slightly dry citrussy bitterness, and the body is full and nice. It’s very porter like and doesn’t have the very pronounced sweetness that many German Schwartzbiers have. It’s one of the really good ones!
