Aroma is dominated by strong coffee notes. Flavour is roasted and malty. Finish is quite hoppy, but also sweet with toffee notes. Malæty sweetness in the nose, good roast. Dark borwn to almost black colored beer with a beautiful ruby tint, nice medium off-white head on top. Very dark brown with a medium sized off-white head. Nice roastedness with notes of malt, dark dried fruit, metal, grain and dark berries. Very well balanced. Ungstrup (11154), Frederiksberg, Denmark Aug 27, 2005 A hazy red-brown beer with a thin beige head. The aroma is sweet with notes of chocolate and roasted malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of chocolate and roasted malt, while the mouthfeel is slightly carbonated. A very nice schwarzbier.
