 Silphium (2009), Lansing, Michigan, USA
Aug 11, 2007 On tap at the restaurant/brewery. Slightly hazy, rich orange body, thick buff head. Crisp, spicy, citrusy hops nose, zesty. Same for the body- citrusy, spicy Amarillo hops dominate the flavor profile, backed by modest bready malts. Tingling biter finish; crisply carbonated. A very nice IPA (or APA), my favorite beer at the brewery.
