On draught at the brewpub in Marquette, Northern Michigan. Pours a semi-clear dark cola brown colored brew with an average sized beige head that quickly dissipates to an off-white ring with some spotty lacing. Aroma of roasted dark malts, some coffee and a hint of vanilla. Taste is medium bodied, smooth, very light in carbonation with flavors of toasted dark malt, some coffee and vanilla. Finish is semi-sweet with a short lived vanilla and toasted dark malt aftertaste. No bitterness detected.
