Light yellow with a decent amount of head. Lots of hops in this one, floral and citrus.

Picked up a single bottle from Blue Max in Burnsville, MN. Pours a pale golden yellow brew with an average white head. Dissolves fast and leaves behind a good lacing. Aroma has some grassy hops, roasted barley, some citrus and a little honey. Taste is a little grainy, some citrus tart and light carbonation. Finish is a dry citrus and a touch of sour apple.

12 oz bottle. Poured a clear golden color. Head was bubbly, white and reduced quickly. Attractive aroma of fresh cereal grain, subdued malty caramel, and cream. Flavor was similar, but also included included a hint of sprucy hops. Dry on the tongue with a touch of lingering bitterness.

From a 12 oz. twist off stubby bottle with no freshness date. Poured a slightly hazy, turns clear, reddish golden with a small foamy white head that quickly settled into a thin lacing. Aromas of powdery biscuits, honey lemon fruitiness, a light mustiness and a tad floral. Moderate carbonation and a softly crisp, watery smooth medium bodied mouthfeel. Tastes of powdery, dusty biscuits, lemon honey that has some sourness to it, for a pilsener, not much of a hop presence, no cleansing in the palate bitterness, and a watery grainy finish with an equally watery grassiness emerging in the aftertaste. Not a very good pilsener, wateriness in the taste reduces it’s drinkability, because I like the pilsener style, I won’t be picking this up again.

A medium gold body with a bright white head. The aroma had some smoked ham with a little bit of light tobacco. The taste was slightly sweet grass with some potatoes and crisp bell peppers in the finish. The body is smooth with plenty of sharp carbonation. A decent session style bee.r

Well, it seems that even the good breweries have their duds. This was one for Viking. Dark amber with a rich creamy head. Buttered toast, cotton candy, citrus hops faintly reach the nose. Light bodied with not much character. The flavor was slightly sweet and a hint of bitterness but all in all it was a dreary beer.

Pours a hazy golden yellow with thick white head. Slight honey and citrus aroma with a pronounced sugary sweetness. Flavor follows aroma, but the elements just don’t combine as well as you would think. Slightly disappointing on the whole.

clear, yellow, irregular thin head. Sweet honey and dusty. Very sweet, mead like. Not very enjoyable.
