Bottled. Poured a clear medium amber with a swirly dusting of white head. Nose was sweet with caramel and some kind of fruity candy that I can’t put a finger on. Flavor was quite sweet as well with about the same stuff... add some herbal notes and nuttiness. Dry and lacking carbonation on the palate... sharper tart bitter feel at the finish. Not bad.. not good.. drinkable.

12oz bottle- An aroma of malt, caramel and a little nutty on a copper colored brew. Has a taste of caramel and chocolate. Not bad.

Wonderful auroma and a beautiful pour. Taste a bit fizzy and overcarbonated for my taste, but drinkable.

Meh, not much to tell here. Copper color with a slight sweet smell. A bit dry and no aftertaste at all.

ZZZZZZZZZzzzzzzzz. Oops, I’m sorry. Dropped off for a moment. These Viking beers have lulled me into a sense of ennui. Headless copper brew had a slightly nutty aroma. some malt, a little butterscotch, but you had to work to get it. Thin and watery in the mouth and the flavor was weak and diluted.

12 oz. bottle picked up at Riley’s in Madison. Transparent copper color with no head at all. Lightly malty and nutty aroma. Nice sweet taste to it, but this beer was slightly oxidized, so the finish wasnt anything spectacular. Probably would have rated higher if it hadnt been oxidized.

clear amber/brownish color, beige head. not much of an aroma, in fact, my pathetic nose can’t detect any individual aromas. flavor is intially somewhat oxidized, flavor has very light notes of fruit, can’t make out individual fruits though. finished with a somewhat chocolatey earthy finish...still not very complex and not a whole lot going on for me. wow, what a crappy rating...beer is not too bad though.

Bottle. Flat looking-you have to really abuse it to get it to foam up. Lots of sweet creamed corn like flavors. Overly sweet like caramel candies. Another flat, sweet turd from Viking. I really admire their gumption, but I question their delivery.
