BLBF: Cologne like distinctive aroma, almost like fermented paper boxes. Cloudy golden pour, with nice head. A bizarre ascerbic and stinging flavor that’s hard to describe, fading to a bland finish that’s fairly clean. Not particularly drinkable.

appearance: hazy gold, adaquatemilky froth. aroma: citric, yet not spicy, but...soapy? oddly astringent, waxpaper meets lemon rind, candle leavings wrapped in orange blossom petals...odd, i say again...a whiff of vanilla in a pool of cheap cologne, lighter fluid with a twist of lime... taste? a little more of the same...smooth, lightly fruity, then dullsville, bordering on cardboard, inoffensive, but builit on blandness, a plasticine gel flops around the mouth, then dissolves, dissipates, disappears...light body, non-present texture, gone-in-a-flash finish. Flavor? Not pleasant...no joy here, and I’m looking into doctoring it up somehow to make it bearable, for I don’t spend $3 on a bottle of beer, just to dump it down the drain. Final thought: you should usually steer clear of beers which employable clever puns in their names that can easily be turned to disparage them. Dim wit, indeed!

Interesting Brew. Hazy Gold Coloring. Good Head to it. Plenty of Spice and some Wheat. Good Summer Brew. Would Like to Try Again.

Wow, here’s a strange one. Cloudy yellow color with a medium head. Burst of ginger and corriander on the nose. More corriander in the taste, but a solid presence of wheat as well. Definitely a hot weather beer.

Pronnounced Ginger on the nose, with some lime like citrus. Light prickle in the mouth and a light to medium palate. Sour, with raw ginger flavors odd though not compelling enough for me. Though I can see enjoying this on a hot afternoon.

A light and refreshing wheat. Cloudy yellow. Aroma of citrus. Slightly sweet, noticeable spice. The brewer says this a Belgian white.

MABR-Cloudy darker golden color, small white head with some staying power. The aroma was wheaty and spicy with a slight citrus side with the flavor being much the same as the aroma with a slightly stronger emphasis on the spice.the after taste was wheaty with a spicy side.very decent brew and well worth the 350 miles to travel to get one.
