ebrowner88 (113), Blaine, Minnesota, USA Mar 21, 2008 Updated: Mar 24, 2008 Well, probably a bad thing that the lable on my bottle is different then the one pictured on this site. I have had this a long time and never opned it. It has been in my fridge for at least 2 years. Maybe 3....Holy foam! well head is uh.. way foamy. Aroma is citrus and coriander. I am not getting much ginger.Holds a head for a long long long time. Reminds me of those old Michelob commercals. Mind you I only opned this so I could use the bottle for homebrewing now I realize IT’S A FRIGGEN TWIST OFF! Still can’t get the whole bottle into the glass. The 3 finger head is just sitting there............2 minutes later.. I finally got whole beer in. This beer holds the record for most floaties ever in a beer that has been purchased. (home brews excluded, but it is damn close to the record!) Upon second look, there appears to be some sort of red shit sitting on top of the head. If I wasn’t already half buzzed I would most likely dump. Flavor is citrus with hints of shampoo and hairspray. UPDATE! upon further review, it has more floaties then any beer i have ever had, purchased or otherwise. It is actually forming a yeast cake on the bottom of my glass. Probably better fresh. Fun to watch though, kind of like sea monkeys swimming in beer.....Beer Monkeys! Gotta go, one of them little bastards just flipped me off!
Tripplebrew (254), Saint Paul, Minnesota, USA May 29, 2008 Well, again, more negative comments. Pours a clear lemon yellow with fair head that dissipates. Aroma is acidic and citrus and flavor is no better. Honestly I don’t have many descriptive words for this. Pretty bland and flat. Gurst (319), Ann Arbor, Wisconsin, USA Mar 20, 2008 Light, fragrant aroma of flowers, banana, ginger, pine. The body is light, sparkling, and very nice. Perfectly pairs with the spicy taste. Ginger and coriander are of course apparent, but banana and light wheat shine too. A little honey and lemon in the aftertaste, too. General_Gao (2509), Iowa City, Iowa, USA Jan 12, 2008 12 oz bottle. Poured a hazy yellow-gold color. Head was white and reduced over a minute or two to a thin lasting film. Some lace was left behind at the end. Aroma was of orange and flower blossoms. There was also some yeasty bread dough, but not much in the way of spices. Very flowery and pollen-like. Delicately sweet on the tongue with buttered pancake, orange, and biscuity flavors. Some coriander came out as well. Carbonation was on the low end of the spectrum. Decent wit. heemer77 (3669), Savannah, Missouri, USA Jan 10, 2008 Very hazy gold with lots of very small floaters. The head is bright white and dense. The aroma has lots of corriander with some banana. There is an overall musky perfume to this brew. The taste is light plantain with some corriander spice in the finish. The body is fairly light with low carbonation. This is an ok wit, but has a funky cardboard note.
