Poured a clear lighter golden rockin’ about zero head. Nose picked up considerably more lime than anything else... maybe a tiny hint of grains or wheat, too. Flavor was also dominated by the lime.. which seemed to be infused with some sugar. Tart wheaty notes spiked at random places on the palate. Watery with very little carbonation... odd tacky feel at the top of the throat. I like limes.. I like beer.. this was just unpleasant. DavidP (1743), Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA
| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Feb 22, 2006 Bottle, clear amber body. Smells like a limey ginger ale. The flavor is pretty weak - pale caramelly malt with the same Sprite-flavored lime. Whatever. igneous1 (1374), Davenport, Iowa, USA

| 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 6/20 | Dec 26, 2005 Gold Coloring with No Head. Perhaps Not Vikings Best Brew but Kudos for Trying Something Like This. Lot of Carbonation, Some Fruit, Agreeably Similiar to Something Like Lysol. Nuffield (2728), Roseville, Minnesota, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Nov 26, 2005 Slightly brown with a yellow tinge. Bright lime aroma like a lime sherbert or artifically-flavored limeade. Strongly carbonated but it fades quickly to flatness, at which point it becomes like diluted Gatorade since it is on the watery side. Not terrible; it’s drinkable at least. | 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Nov 26, 2005 Bottle. Spicy plastiv vegetal nose-I guess a product of the citric acid. Hazy murky honey body. Notes of grass and lime. Taste-lime, fresh grass, lemon pledge. Not bad in an undrinkable kind of way, but not a beer that I would seek out again. Lime is definitely in the aroma but comes across as lime juice mixed with a little sugar. Pours a hazy dull orange with some transparency. Small white head quickly fades to a ring. Flavor is a little rough. Light sweetness up front with a moderate sour lime finish. Really strange and doesn’t work for me at all. JPDIPSO (4935), Wauwatosa, Wisconsin, USA
| 1.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 7/20 | Oct 25, 2005 Lightly hazed golden color with a ring of white bubbles that were forced with a vigorous pour. Rose’s lime juice with a touch of spice in the aroma. A spiced lime cake comes to mind with the first swig. Actually seems to have a touch of pumpkin pie spice with lime cake. Very light in carbonation, not sure if this was intended with this one (a style that typically would have higher carbonation levels). Lime does dominate. Really come off as unbalanced and lacking in the malt category.
