Bottled. An amber mead with a thin off-white head. The aroma is sweet with notes of alcohol, melon, and other fruits. The flavor is sweet with notes of fruit - especially melon, though somewhat artificial, leading to a very sweet finish.

(Bottle 65 cl) Courtesy of Skyview. Pours a clear, warm, amber golden with a small, off-white head. Aroma of honey and dry sherry. Medium-bodied, a little caramel and some exciting, exotic fruit notes. Not all that honeyish in the flavour though. Has a discreet underlying acidity. Interesting. 190408

Blind tasting at Papsoes place, another great session, thanks Henrik! Beer #7: Pours sligh cloudy orange with a fully diminished white head. Sweet fruity aroma, light and almost peachy. Flavour is sweet and with a light resembling honey note following, mead-like. Light spiced and almost dry woody note following.

Shared by StewardofGondor at the 3/25/06 Milwaukee tasting: Pours a clear copper bronze with a thin ring of white head. Sweet floral honeydew melon and tangerine aroma has some soft mild caramel maltiness and clover honey. Starts with sweet sugary fruity honey character with a thinner semi-tart tangering finish. Not very true to style, but has an interesting fruit character.
