Pours from the bottle to amber orange, with no head at all. Aroma is sweet pale malt and distant hops. A bit of a vagrant all around because it has no bitterness, apart from a zing of soap. Almost uncarbonated, creating a mouthfeel like flat refrigerated citrus soda. Poured it.

From a 12 oz. bottle purchased in Madison, WI. The body is dark orange with a slightly off white head on top. The aroma is decently hoppy with a little bit of oranges and some toffee. The taste has iced tea, orange peels and some light bread crust. There is also a little bit of pineapple. A pretty mild IPA. Nothing stands out in this one.

Pours a cloudy dark golden color with almost no head. Weak aromal of floral and citrus, orange. Watery, a slight bitterness with nothing else there. To the sink we go.

This was a nasty beer.No hops at all. They have a couple of brews that are al right but Viking sucks.

Tasted sort of like a macro larger. Carel maltiness with very little hop taste. Bland, watery, grainy. A cheap single from Steve’s on University ave. in Madison. Swill in a shiny wrapped bottle.

12oz version. Poured a clear golden color with a brown tint and large off-white head. Moderate amount of hops in the aroma. Some fruity sweetness and caramel maltiness. Notes of paper. Flavor was lightly fruity almost a sour pineapple taste. Thin body.

12 oz Bottle. Aroma had some citrus but also that musty malt smell. Somewhat copper body and cloudy, no head whatsoever. Flavor was little watery citrus but by finish a syrupy texture was present. Odd for an IPA.

12 oz bottle. Pours to a glowing clean looking dark amber body with a thin creamy looking white head. I suspect I got one of the better looking beers from this company? The aroma is floral and perfumey with notes of citrus and tea. The flavor starts off lightly hoppy and accelerates into an extremely malty/nutty with sweet caramel. Totally not an IPA in my opinion. Leafy hops. Not as bad as everyone else is coming up with. Perhaps they’ve fixed the problem with this beer? Medium body with a very light metallic quality. Drinkable but not exciting. Perhaps this is a flawed beer because they claim IPA... I just think they have a messed up non-IPA-ish recipe.
