Perumfy, floral dandelion flower and tulip aroma - pretty nice. The flavor takes on the same dandelion character along with sharp dandelion stem juice and some grassiness. I don’t really enjoy this but it gets bonus points for being different. JCapriotti (1378), Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jan 2, 2007 Not much head; looks flat. Slightly dirty gold body. Almost white wine-like hop in aroma. Very green grassy white wine, orange fruity character. Aroma is really interesting, yet odd. Flavor turns down, though not unexpectedly. Stale straw infested malt, but after a while the fruit comes out.. tropical mostly. Odd, but not too bad. JK (2963), Richfield, Minnesota, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Sep 6, 2003 An unusual ipa. Color is light brown, taste and body is light. The first taste is fruit, followed by bitter hops in the finish. I would like a more full bodied ipa from viking. DocLock (4648), Lower Pottsgrove, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Oct 17, 2005 Thanks to Robert’s Reality for this. 12 ounce bottle. The pour is hazy copper with a huge head. I had no problem with flatness on this one. Aroma of hopcit, malt, some fruit. The taste was hoppy, with some mid-palate floral fruitiness and finishing citrus. Lively, medium to light palate. Slick (1962), Thief River Falls, Minnesota, USA

| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Jul 12, 2006 12 oz bottle. Pours to a glowing clean looking dark amber body with a thin creamy looking white head. I suspect I got one of the better looking beers from this company? The aroma is floral and perfumey with notes of citrus and tea. The flavor starts off lightly hoppy and accelerates into an extremely malty/nutty with sweet caramel. Totally not an IPA in my opinion. Leafy hops. Not as bad as everyone else is coming up with. Perhaps they’ve fixed the problem with this beer? Medium body with a very light metallic quality. Drinkable but not exciting. Perhaps this is a flawed beer because they claim IPA... I just think they have a messed up non-IPA-ish recipe. weeare138 (936), Collegeville, Pennsylvania, USA

Appears a light hazy orange with spotty lacing left behind by an average head.
Smell is tea like with some weak hops and biscuits coming through.
Taste is slightly sour with more earthy tastes and a mild tea like hopness.
Mouthfeel is of slight hops with the same mild sourness beating out the bitters and sweets.
