Thanks to Robert’s Reality for this one. Pours deep black with minimal tan head. Aroma of roasty toasty malt, chocoff, black licorice, cinnamon jellybeans, and jalapeno oils. The flavor is roasty malty up front, with chocoff, spicy cinnamon flavors, and some creaminess at the finish. Very unique.

Dark brown/black pour, with a light brown head. Aroma is coffee and chocolate. Flavor is sweet, roasted malt, coffee, chocolate, and hops. Very nice for a lower alcohol porter/stout.

Dark brown pour with a minimal creamy white head. Organic aroma with a coffee/carmal malt taste. Not much after thought though. All in all a good poter, thick and earthy.

odd aroma, almost smells like a foreign stout, lots of hops, a bit musty, dark brown color with a giant foamy head that fades away to nothing. lots of coffee in the flavor, some sweet chocolates, some grassy hops, and a nice smooth sweet mouthfeel. the hops finish in the afterataste again remind me of a foreign stout instead of a porter, but altogether, this was an above average tasting beer.

bomber bottle-pours 90% black with a small beige head. big roasted, burnt charcol and black licorice notes come right at you. big milk chocolate flavors with a touch of char and baking chocolate moreso in the finish. medium body that was slightly flimsy, but not all that detracting. with more carbonation, this beer may have actually hindered the flavor profile due to the subtleness of some of the flavors. long chocolate and black licorice finish. Pretty good, but i will have to get another when its more fresh.

Bottle acquired in trade with robsreality (thanks!). Major gusher. As soon as I popped the top, it was like a volcano - all over my desk and floor (took me by surprise). Poured a dark black with red at the edges and needless to say, all head (tan). Once the head settled, aromas of coffee, chocolate and roast. Flavors of milk, lighter coffee and chocolate (milky flavors dominate the tastes).

Thinking that the gusher was a one off, I decided to open another bottle of this. Guess what, it gushed a lot more than the 1st bottle. Other than the gushing, not a bad beer. Knocked down the Palate and overall based on this second bottle. Body really to fizzy and over carbonated.

Pours medium to dark brown with beige film for head. Huge coffee aroma and flavor, which again I don’t like. Flavor also has lots of burnt grain, with a strange sournes in the finish.

Opaque and midnight brown in color. Semi-translucent at the edges with a skittish, dusty tan head. Nice mocha cocoa aroma, joining wafts of sugar-free iced coffee, Hershey syrup and instant coffee grinds. Strong milk chocolate flavor accents, Symphony candy bars, burnt pecans and chocolate malt balls. In sum, we’re chock full of chocolate here. Fuller-bodied than anticipated and well-balanced. Hops play more of a supporting role to the chewy malts. Dry, cappuccino finish. Solid porter.
