Commercial Description:
Breakfast Beer. Oatmeal milk porter that has a decidedly coffee flavor to it (although we don't use coffee in it). Yesiree, all the best parts of breakfast, right in your glass.

Straight from a 12 oz bottle. Pours opaque dark brown with a short tan head. Aroma of sweet coffee with milky. Even a hint of lactose. A roast flavor with smoky chocolate. A smoky finish too. An excellent brew served with bison meat.

Pours black with just a dusting of a head. Has a nice rich aroma of roasted nuts, coffee, and cocoa. Flavor is creamy chocolate, coffee beans and a light bitter malt finish. Better than I thought it would be.

12oz bottle via trade with footbalm! - Thanks Eric! - Pours dark brown with a pretty nice tan head. Nice mocha aroma of chocolate, coffee, and roasted notes beneath. Flavor starts off with sweet milk chocolate which gives way to roasty overtoanes and a slight lactic finish. Palate is creamy throughout and pretty well aerated. Pretty smooth and creamy thoughout and a nice porter to drink.. I’m amazed to see other ratings here I think this one was pretty solid..

Botle. Pours a dark brown oily color with small tan head. Aroma of raw cocoa and milk chocolate. Taste is of coffee and grain. Has a slight fruit undetone. It was a bit sour and watery to me. Not a beer I would want to try again.

Bottle (trade with JK). An initial mocha coffee aroma that get more and more buttery as it warms - reminds me of a chocolate croissant. Dark black-brown color with film of a head. Flavor initially a bland cream followed by a caramel corn/Cracker Jack flavor. Low carbonation and mild hops finish. Description very accurate - would be a nice breakfast beer.

Funky aroma of dirty socks, dusty cocoa, and buttery (diacytel). Barely any head formation here. Opaque and black body. Based on the aroma I thought this beer would be terrible. However, there is a nice smooth coffee and cocoa flavor to this brew. Slightly undercarbonated for my liking but still pretty smooth flavor. I can faintly taste the buttery flavor but at least it’s not overpowering. Overall, this is a mess but at least it’s drinkable. I also get a tangy, sour like finish. Weird.

Really bad butter aroma, but the flavor is much better. Coffee and milk chocolate, with a touch of marshmallow, with more coffee. And sweet chocolate. And coffee. This would be great if it smelled better. Thanks to JK for the trade!

Initailly, a huge, dark brown head took up most of the glass, but this quickly faded to nearly nothing at all, yet the carbonation, like soda, remains high. This is unusally smokey for what I epected to be like a sweet stout or a milk porter, and unfortuneatly for the beer, I’m put off by this. There is not much lactose, and not that sweet or creamy.
