Feb 10, 2009 on draught during Winterfest 2009 in St Paul, MN as Vine Park Black Bavarian. Pours a dark brown cola brew with a thin off-white head that quickly dissipates to a thin ring. Aroma of toasted dark malt, some flowery hops a touch of dark pitted fruits and some toffee. Taste is medium bodied, lightly carbonated with flavors of toasted dark malt, and some light chocolate. Finish is semi-dry, with a short lived dark malt aftertaste.
