Had high hopes for this, as they described it being like Furious of Celebration....ya, not so much. Zero hop aroma, with just a tinge of hop bite on the pallate. Very soapy aftertaste that was very unpleasant. Most of this Growler had to go down the drain. Dissapointing for sure. ElGaucho (1730), Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 10/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Mar 30, 2003 Starts out wonderfully with a bright, crisp, hoppy aroma. Small, off-white head with excellent lace, though mostly diminishing. Hazy red body. Moderate to heavy hop bitterness and moderately sweet. Despite the strong hop presence, Mulligan Ale is a little unbalanced toward the malty side. Also a little too sweet and syrupy. Otherwise, pretty solid. Nuffield (2749), Roseville, Minnesota, USA
