The flavor is nicely balanced with a grapefruit and lemon zest surge near the finish. Good sessionable ale.

| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | May 26, 2006 On tap at the brewpub. Has a slightly bitter aroma. Pours a deep gold color with really good lacing. The hops are up front, then a break, then a burst of more hop bitterness, finally ending with a tingly
finish. Overall, a good body to the beer. Cable (286), SE, Oklahoma, USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Feb 26, 2006 Sampled on draft at Vinos. Pours slightly cloudy bronze in color. Aroma is too mild and is dominated by malt - I was expecting some hops aroma in this style. Too balanced - needs a bit more bitterness. Earthy with minimal hop presence. Medium-light body and lightly carbonated. Too dumbed down. BeerandBlues2 (3230), Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA
| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Feb 24, 2006 Draught. Pours amber with patchy off-white film. Aroma is citrus, fruity hop, malt (grain, meal) and trace yeast. Moderately bitter and tart, acidic hop flavor, grainy malt, low sweetness, somewhat lingering flavor. Medium bodied and lightly fizzy palate. boto (1345), Granby, Connecticut, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Sep 13, 2005 Draught @ the Brewpub: This one poured a lighter amber color. There was almost no head to it at all. There was a fair amount of fiziness going on in this one. The aroma was rather thin. I barely got some maltiness and pine hops. The taste is OK, but rather non-descript. There are some malts, some hops, but it is unremarkable. It does go well with their pizza. It is much better than most anything else available in the area! kwoeltje (1326), Manchester, Missouri, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Aug 14, 2005 (draught) Nice medium amber with off white head. Malt aroma. Malt flavors with reasonable amount of hops. Medium body. Nice pale ale - I agree, it’s a good beverage with their pizza. ericmc83 (200), Arkansas, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | May 21, 2005 From what I can tell from hearing people talk, this is one of the favorites from Vinos. I was pleased with it, I must say. I couldn’t sense a lot of aroma, but I think that may have something to do with the environment and the fact that I didn’t get to smell it as soon as it was poured. Flavor is hoppy as expected, but well balanced. A great beer to eat some of Vino’s pizza with.
