Apr 23, 2007 Growler filled 4-23-07. Pours hazy copper, almost brown. Reminds me more of a special bitter than an American pale. Faint citrusy american hop aroma, nice body with very balanced flavor. Nice dry finish. Not complex, but very drinkable.

Nov 3, 2009 Growler courtesy of lithy. Pours copper with a thin white head. Smells of spice, earth, grassy, some sweet citrus. Tastes bitter, peppery, earthy, nutty with a nice bite on the finish.

Feb 9, 2008 nice session beer from vino’s. i enjoyed some of this before and during the hank III concert held at vino’s last summer. good blend of citrus hops with a solid malt base. Nothing special, but a good session beer.

Aug 14, 2005 (draught) Nice medium amber with off white head. Malt aroma. Malt flavors with reasonable amount of hops. Medium body. Nice pale ale - I agree, it’s a good beverage with their pizza.

May 21, 2005 From what I can tell from hearing people talk, this is one of the favorites from Vinos. I was pleased with it, I must say. I couldn’t sense a lot of aroma, but I think that may have something to do with the environment and the fact that I didn’t get to smell it as soon as it was poured. Flavor is hoppy as expected, but well balanced. A great beer to eat some of Vino’s pizza with.

Mar 31, 2009 Pours a semi-hazy amber with a weak nose and slightly burnt flavors. Nicely malty and caramel with some hop to balance.

May 26, 2006 On tap at the brewpub. Has a slightly bitter aroma. Pours a deep gold color with really good lacing. The hops are up front, then a break, then a burst of more hop bitterness, finally ending with a tingly
finish. Overall, a good body to the beer.

Jan 23, 2007 Golden bodied with a good lacing head, this smells of sweet caramel with a mild hoppy bitterness. The flavor is nicely balanced with a grapefruit and lemon zest surge near the finish.
