nice seasonal brew, spiced just right for the Christmas season, nutmeg, allspice, clove. Love the smell. Medium texture, cloudy red brown color... not an everyday beer, but nice for the season, especially if you want something really different. this GABF Gold medal brewer is known for skill and creativity.

Growler de Logan. Clear dark brown body. Sharp orange juice and dried cherry in the aroma. More grape juice in the flavor along with orange rind and bready yeast along with light coriander.

Nice Christmas brew. Lighter body than OSA. Flavor includes nutmeg and cinnamon. One of their more interesting brews besides the IIPA.

GABF 2008. Listed on the card as a brown ale, but with one sip it becomes apparent that this is more of a holiday-spice beer. Chocolate, cinnamon, mace, with a subtle raisin fruit note in the finish. Not what I expected, but a pleasant surprise in the end.

DenverLogan brought this. It pours to a smokey chocolatey plaintains. Spices like nutmeg and cinnamon. Almost has an eggnog like quality. Very unique and quite good. The beer is a weak looking brown color. No head. Tastes like what I suspect a Christmas wreath would taste.

smells of lots of spice, nutmeg cinnamon allspice ginger and some light sweet smoked malts. Pours a dark mahogony w/ not real head. Lightly lively palate some carb a good coat. Flavor is the smoked malt and ginger hints of nutmeg and cinnamon as well. Pretty good. Sampled from a growler.

Thanks to DenverLogan for sharing this: Pours a dark brown color, no head. Aroma of strong spices, cinnamon and allspice, some green leefy stuff too. Flavor is sweet, a nice spice kick, smooth and malty body.

Growler shared by DenverLogan. Slightly hazy chocolate brown in color with no head, void of any movement, and potentially some yeasties. Christmas creationism in the nose, resting on nutmeg, cinnamon, gingerbread men, and liquefied brown sugar sloshed over pecans. Cherry tobacco pipe blend flavor meets halfway with Christmas spice bread. Amplified nutmeg and a late seasonal intervention manifests as pumpkin pie spice comes to call. Spicy palate dimension composed of crackled black pepper and earthen walnut dust. Dry, arid finish.
