Commercial Description:
A traditional India Pale Ale, light bodied, golden-amber in color with an intense hop aroma produced by dry-hopping during fermentation. A very tasty ale with little bitter aftertaste which makes it great on a hot day.

On tap at the restaurant. Pint. Hazy, tan-brownish color with a full white head. A bit cold. Nose is subtle, not overpowering of hops. Taste comes off very bitter with a nice hop profile. Very drinkable with a full, thick mouth and lingering bitterness. Good middle of the road IPA.

Tap at the brewpub. The body was ruddy and rusty deep copper. The aroma was light grapefruit with some nuts. The taste was light grapefruit with some bitter burnt bread crust. Again, another pale ale with almost no hops.

very solid ipa. very hazy and dark but i still kinda like that. Good amount of hops on the nose but nothing crazy and overpowering. Very nice indeed

a decent IPA. much better than any IPA in little rock. some heavy piney hops with some honey, pine, lemon and orange peel with hints of vanilla and biscuit malt.

4-22-07 The only one I tried there at the pub, though I bought two growlers of the stout and the pale ale. Draught. Orange and hazy. Aroma is citrusy and pleasant. Flavor is slightly sweet with lots of citrusy hop goodness. Bracingly bitter on the back of the tongue. Sweetness never becomes cloying and it leads to a long, dry finish. Impressive.

This is the best beer at the brewpub, but that goes without saying to a hophead. It pours a hazy light amber with a thick white head that does some intricate lacing. The aroma is heavy with resinous pine, grapefruit, and lemon zest scents. The caramel in the flavor has just enough backbone to support the intense PNW bitterness that remain in the prolonged, bitter, peppery finish. A well crafted IPA.

On tap at the brew pub. Pours orange/gold. no aroma. At first, you get an immediate hops taste, like eating a grassy meadow. a hophead’s delight. hops are a very present and dominant taste, just this side of smacking your tongue right out of your mouth. good balance - the body and mouth feel support the hops well.

Barrel Draught from the jug at the GABF, Colorado Convention Center 01/10/2005 Amber coloured and very hoppy with a fruity aroma. Slightly bitter finish.
