| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Oct 12, 2005 Draught @ brewery: This one pours a cloudy orangish amber color. There was a nice off-white head on it. There was a fair amount of lacing to go along with it. There was a bit of a piney hop nose, but it wasn’t too strong. The taste is somewhat piney, but not overpoweringly strong. Nicely balanced malts and hops. A decent IPA. Oakes (8115), Kowloon, Hong Kong
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 2/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Oct 10, 2005 Copper colour with a slight haze. Hints of floral and citrusy hops along with toasty malt in the aroma. The strange yuzu taste of Horizon hops dominates the character of this beer, making it fruity and refreshing, but this hop character doesn’t really appeal to me personally. Fairly low bitterness for style. Good balance, just not to my taste. Crash (449), Macomb, Illinois, USA

Again, not really my style but, I had to try different things. Normal hops aroma but, a bit lighter than others. Taste was pretty hoppy which is what killed me. MIBRomeo (1965), Wisconsin, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Oct 3, 2005 Looks just like their IIPA but a touch lighter. Big cascade hop aroma very simple and clean. Light palate some oily coating. Big dry hop taste citrus/grass/grapefruit, no real malts. A very basic IPA but not bad. argo0 (6978), Washington DC, USA

Taste is medium sweet, pine, some grapefruit. Light-medium body. A milder sort of IPA, no surprise given the market. kwoeltje (1326), Manchester, Missouri, USA
