Commercial Description:
A traditional India Pale Ale, light bodied, golden-amber in color with an intense hop aroma produced by dry-hopping during fermentation. A very tasty ale with little bitter aftertaste which makes it great on a hot day.

Copper colour with a slight haze. Hints of floral and citrusy hops along with toasty malt in the aroma. The strange yuzu taste of Horizon hops dominates the character of this beer, making it fruity and refreshing, but this hop character doesn’t really appeal to me personally. Fairly low bitterness for style. Good balance, just not to my taste.

(GABF05) Clear apple juice body with white head. Aroma is medium sweet, some pine/grapefruit. Taste is medium sweet, pine, some grapefruit. Light-medium body. A milder sort of IPA, no surprise given the market.

Growler. Pours copper with a thin white head. Smells of earth, perfumy, spicy. Tastes of wildflowers, caramel and earthy with a sweet finish.

This is the best beer at the brewpub, but that goes without saying to a hophead. It pours a hazy light amber with a thick white head that does some intricate lacing. The aroma is heavy with resinous pine, grapefruit, and lemon zest scents. The caramel in the flavor has just enough backbone to support the intense PNW bitterness that remain in the prolonged, bitter, peppery finish. A well crafted IPA.

Tap at the brewpub. The body was ruddy and rusty deep copper. The aroma was light grapefruit with some nuts. The taste was light grapefruit with some bitter burnt bread crust. Again, another pale ale with almost no hops.

Draught. Low but lasting fluffy off-white head. Hazy bron body. Dry hops honey aroma. Salty hoppy flavor with high carbonation and a long aftertaste.

Draught. Pours amber with ruby highlights and a patchy off-white head. Fragrant floral and citrus hop, caramel malt (meal) aroma with trace yeast. Moderate to heavily bitter, medium acidic citrus rind hop lingering flavor, low sweetness. Medium bodied and fizzy, crisp, somewhat dry palate.
